The Last Apparition
The first week of writing has gone well.
I’ve nailed down most of the plot outline, really down to the nitty gritty. It isn’t all perfect, but it’s a start. It’s been genuinely great to work on the project.
Now I’ve got a long way to go in terms of tech/work flow on the visual style, but I’ve nailed down how I think ill do things. My thoughts so far are using Daz3d for characters, and then importing those into UE5 directly. This introduces some limitations in terms of how I’ll do things going forward and certainly introduces complications of having to know multiple tools, but I think its the best for now. If I stick strictly in Daz3d renders will take forever. I’m not sure how I’ll manage with animations in unreal, but if all else fails I can just throw Blender into the mix.
“First, he was fired. Then, his accounts were locked. Soon, his rent increased, and every job offer was rescinded at the last minute. His social media became unusable—buried beneath harassment and moderation. Online friends began to vanish. Communication was silenced. It became increasingly clear: he wasn't being hunted.
He was being smothered.
They called it the hum—the ghost process.”
